“I am continuing to explore the spiritual potential of image making. My use of appropriation raises questions…and evokes the Buddhist notion of emptiness. I am removing works of art from their historical bearings and creating new contexts and meanings for them…moving past a deconstructive criticism to a non-verbal realm of poetic impulse.”
