Laura Cloud - RE(Tracing) Morocco is the result of a residency program I attended during the summer of 2016 at Green Olive Arts located in Tetouan, Morocco. During the nineteen seventies, I had the experience of living in Morocco for two years. While in residence, I revisited and documented contemporary Morocco through photo, video, sound recordings, journal entries, and drawings. RE(Tracing) Morocco layers past experiences, memories, personal history, etc. the contemporary.

A special thank you to both Green Olive Arts for providing me with a studio and time to be creative and Michigan State University's College of Arts and Letters for awarding me a Summer Research Fellowship.
