"Reve de Rangoon," oil on photographic reproductions of her oil paintings
The base of Beatrice's paintings is photographs of smaller diary-like sketches. These photographs are painted on in bright colors and presented as diptychs. They show the fantastic landscape and the spirit of Buddhism in the sub-tropic world of Indochina. But they might be traitorous: different layers show different truths.
