Toward The Within, photography
Toward The Within is a showing of documentary photographs captured in rural Ireland. In the artist's search for identity and direction in life, she found herself drawn to the country from which her foundations were laid. Reclaiming her roots through the experience of living among the Irish, she connected with them on a very intimate level, identifying with their ever-pervasive social and political troubles. The "visual notes" of her journey serve as the window not only into her own soul, but also into that of the Mother herself- Ireland.

Revelations new work in glass and metal
The suspended glass and metal structures in Cass' current series, Divers and Travelers, resemble delicate industrial microorganisms. These large, zeppelin-shaped sculptures are meant to suggest scientific models of the psyche. Each piece holds a nucleus of blown glass that has been entirely enclosed by translucent layers of metal mesh or bent glass. These delicate carapaces can be seen as protective or restricting, and obscure the innards to various degrees. The viewer is drawn in by this mystery, and is left in a state of reflection as well as visceral engagement.

Pieces of Memory fiberart
Pieces of Memory is a series of fiber artworks that allow the viewer to accompany the artist through her grieving process. She is making use of a quilting tradition that gives the mourner a process to reflect, lament, laugh sigh, smile, weep and recall. The completed work remains as a tangible testimony to her loved one's threads of life.

Inter-Species: Portraits
These experimental portraits capture the moment of dialoging beyond words- with an intrinsic and vibrant communication. The work projects the feelings of how people and animals alike, "speaking" with one another, can form deep connections of thought and emotion. These portraits are from the inter-species communication series which includes these digital photo-paintings, as well as original video and audio installations and media works.
